Mission Statement tells us "why we exist, Vision Statement tells us "what we do"

Our Mission at King of Glory Lutheran Church:
We are here to worship the living God, receive Christ’s Gifts, and share God’s love.

Our Vision at King of Glory Lutheran Church:
In Christ, we welcome all, grow in grace, serve in love.

In Christ
So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

We Welcome All
For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26-28)

Grow in Grace
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God —not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Serve in Love

In the next 3-5 years:  We see a vibrant, intergenerational community of disciples of Jesus Christ at King of Glory Lutheran Church.  Lives are being changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, faith is nurtured from generation to generation, and people of King of Glory are active in serving the needs of others, locally and globally.

Desired Outcomes:

So that we invite and welcome all people into God’s story of grace.

So that we are spiritually fed and are confident sharing the Word of God.

So that we foster an environment in which members develop relationships that build upon their common interests and passions.

So that we are responsible stewards of the gifts of God.

So that people of King of Glory are empowered to be spiritual leaders in homes, congregation, and community.

So that people outside this faith community see and experience the love of God in Jesus Christ.
